Case Managers – All Sites Job in Project Renewal

Our comprehensive and integrated 24/7 programs are designed to offer the holistic care our clients need. With a staff of 950+ and an annual budget of $120 million, Project Renewal is one of the larger social service nonprofits in New York City.
Currently, we are seeking Case Managers at our shelter sites, will manage a caseload, provide referral for services (medical, substance use, medical etc.), develops service plans, complete intakes, psycho-social, case notes, facilitate group etc. BA Degree; experience with homeless population, excellent communication skills; experience with Microsoft office. Bilingual a plus. Must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
Sites:
Fort Washington Men’s Shelter is a 200-bed temporary shelter which Project Renewal manages under a contract with the Department of Homeless Services and the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. Comprehensive psychiatric, medical, and case management services are provided to homeless men who have been diagnosed with mental illness and substance abuse.
Marsha’s House is an 81-bed shelter that serves LGBTQI+ homeless youth between the ages of 18-30. The program assists all residents with obtaining supportive housing opportunities. In addition, clients are provided resources for medical, mental health, substance use treatment, assistance with obtaining identification, and educational/vocational services.
East Williamsburg Men’s Shelter is an emergency men’s shelter which helps 140 individuals with substance abuse histories work towards health, sobriety, and, ultimately, permanent housing and employment.
Renewal House provides transitional housing to 50 individuals who have a history of substance use. Renewal House is funded by OASAS and works to provide clients with skills that will support them in more independent housing in the future. Renewal House is a 24/7 facility.
Bedford Green House is a new state-of-the-art supportive/affordable housing complex providing homes and services to more than 300 New Yorkers. Bedford Green House will provide onsite social services including primary care for adults and families and women’s health services, family reunification services, occupational therapy, and more.
Salary $39,000-$44,000 a year
Flexible work schedule (Mon.-Fri.) 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm or 10am-6am
Remote Work: Once a week
Location: Sites in Brooklyn, Bronx, and Manhattan
