Chef Job in The Hi-Mark

The Hi Mark in Cincinnati, OH is looking for one Kitchen Manager to join our team. We are located on 3229 Riverside Dr. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and hard-working.

Responsibilities

*Prepare dishes to the our company’s standard *Plan and delegate food preparation and cooking tasks to the BOH team *Train, develop and develop BOH team *Set up a check out system for all of the cooks, to over see food safety handling and cleanliness of kitchen *Follow food costing systems to ensure ordering, portioning, waste, inventory and rotation procedures are up to our company’s standards *ALWAYS: Stay calm, respond in a concerned and sympathetic manner, behave respectfully and be helpful. Listen to complaints & compliments and react effectively. *Consistently “walk the floor” so you can catch a little problem BEFORE it develops into a BIG problem! *Watch ticket times and the rail to make sure cooks are not falling behind *Be ready to jump in and help when employees need assistance

Qualifications

*Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills *Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate the team *Relevant food safety and handling certificate *Experience as a chef is a plus
