Haymarket Media, Inc. is seeking an organized, creative, and detail-oriented individual to join a growing, team-oriented company as a Marketing Associate in its Marketing Department. This position is located in our New York, NY office.

Job Overview:
Reporting to the Marketing Manager within Haymarket Media’s Marketing team, the candidate will be responsible for assisting with day to day marketing tasks including email campaigns, social media, PPC, campaign delivery, strategy, creative strategy and analyzing marketing reports across Haymarket Media’s network of business sites.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute integrated and multi-channel marketing plans to grow entries, registrations and attendance at live events
Create audience generation and engagement strategies and campaigns to increase engagement and registrations within key industry categories
Collaborate and work closely with leadership and cross-functional team members to brainstorm, plan, and develop new ideas and strategies
Define a comprehensive marketing performance framework
Work with commercial, events, and editorial teams on marketing programs and tactics that will increase visibility of the events and associated opportunities
Craft marketing collateral working closely with the art and brand teams on creative vision, strategy, copy and creation

Grow podcast audience, listenership and revenue

Manage the creation and distribution of podcast subscription efforts
Manage the creation of original content unique for each episode on each platform (social media accounts, e-blasts, web ads, Lytics modules and newsletter content)
Manage budget and execution of paid marketing efforts including: PPC, programmatic, and paid social media

Manage campaign delivery for all digital campaigns

develop and execute marketing tactics to ensure delivery

Manage performance for partner content campaigns
Work with SEO team to help grow traffic on various editorial based content series’

Skills and Requirements:

Minimum of 2-3 years relevant experience
BS/MS degree in related field
Demonstrated excellent writing and communication skills
Ability to craft engaging social media and email marketing copy that begs to be opened
Ability to convert event and product descriptions into copy that sells
Highly organized with an ability to multitask and strong attention to detail
Experience working in Canva
Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of Google Suite
Knowledge of HTML a plus
