DESCRIPTION

Parametric is part of Morgan Stanley Investment Management, the asset management division of Morgan Stanley. We partner with advisors, institutions, and consultants to build portfolios focused on what’s important to them and their clients. A leader in custom solutions for more than 30 years, we help investors access efficient market exposures, solve implementation challenges, and design multi-asset portfolios that respond to their evolving needs. We also offer systematic alpha and alternative strategies to complement clients’ core holdings

The designer is an essential member of the creative team, working closely with fellow designers, copywriters, and digital marketers to create high-quality, impactful, on-brand visual assets. The ideal candidate is highly collaborative but also able to work independently to conceive and develop beautiful typographic and visual solutions.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and lay out ads, presentations, brochures, insights, case studies, whitepapers, newsletters, emails, web pages, interactive graphics, social media, brand/identity, and other digital assets and collateral.

Contribute to and maintain brand standards and keep brand assets up to date.

Participate in ideation and wireframing exercises to produce more effective designs.

Help develop creative briefs for projects where necessary.

Maintain current industry knowledge of design concepts, techniques, and applications.

Present conceptual thinking and designs to both internal and external audiences.

Execute ideas according to internal and client deadlines.

Complete additional design-related assignments as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in graphic design or related discipline Desired

3+ years of graphic design experience and available online portfolio.

Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and the Microsoft Office Suite.

Data visualization skills.

Experience with video and photography.

Strong attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both orally and in writing.

Ability to adapt and demonstrate flexibility with changing timelines and priorities.

ADDITIONAL DESIRABLE SKILLS

– HTML and CSS coding.

– Knowledge of UI/UX processes and methods.
