Media Data Entry Specialist Job in Lockard & Wechsler Direct

Lockard & Wechsler Direct, a full-service direct marketing agency, is hiring a full-time media data specialist. Acting as coordinator between external media vendors, internal buying and planning groups, Media Data Specialists collect station reports of ads scheduled to run (prelogs) and send out media purchase data to the client service and planning department on a daily basis. Additionally, Media Data Specialists enter prelog and postlog media clearance into the company’s FileMaker data system and maintain tracking spreadsheets on a Google Drive. This is a high-pressure position, that requires great organizational skills and a pleasant personality.Training is provided to set up new hires for success. Successful employees then become independent at self-check to ensure accuracy in data entry and solutions-oriented communications. We need our new media data specialist to be a reliable team player who has a goal of long-term employment.
Please note, candidates who are selected for an interview will be required to take an Excel assessment.
Responsibilities
Responsible to be the go-between media stations and agency planning/buying groups to quickly collect weekly media prelogs
Enter media postlogs in Filemaker/MediaPro purchasing system weekly to support client reporting accuracy
Maintain Google Drive spreadsheet tracking Media Prelogs received or pending
Sort information in MS Excel to check for duplicate information and verify correct stations & rates
Work within a team and provide coverage for additional stations and projects as needed
Requirements
Bachelor or Associate Degree preferred
Excellent and professional communication skills for email correspondence with station reps and planning/buying departments
Data entry experience is helpful, but not required
Highly proficient in Excel. Candidates selected for an interview will be required to take an Excel assessment through Indeed.
Superior multi-tasking and organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong computer skills, and any experience operating an Apple computer is a plus
Typing ability – 40 wpm
Ability to work in our office in Irvington, NY three days a week
