Political National Sales Assistant Job in TEGNA

Premion, a leading “Over-the-Top” advertising and media business seeks a talented and dedicated Political National Sales Assistant who will assist with our Premion Direct Sales Team. Responsibilities: This position will be responsible for coordinating and managing client orders from entry to invoicing. The role works closely with the Premion Direct Sales team to provide our sellers support in onboarding their clients and accurately inputting the orders those clients provide.
The responsibilities include: Salesforce Opportunity and RFP development, order entry, order upkeep, ensuring compliance with new advertiser/credit policies, invoice preparation, billing management, acting as an account service contact for select clientele, and workflow management between client services teams.
As capacity allows, the National Sales Assistant may also participate in lead generation and proposal creation activities on behalf of their assigned salesperson. This person will report to the National Sales Assistant Manager and will regularly interact with the Premion Sales Directors, Sales Planners, Account Managers, and corporate finance teams to ensure all aspects of the client experience are fulfilled in a timely and accurate manner.

Pay Range: $55,000-$60,000
Job Requirements:


Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field
2+ years’ experience in media ad sales preferred
Strong analytical, and basic mathematical abilities
A self-starter, comfortable working in a fast-moving start-up environment, and managing a high volume of activity.
Must be a dedicated, trustworthy, and dependable team member with a positive, “can-do” attitude.
Must be detail-oriented and maintain a high level of accuracy in all related work.
Must possess a natural curiosity to learn new things and be adaptable to a consistently evolving environment.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects effectively in a time-sensitive environment.
Proficient in Microsoft office and extremely computer literate, with strong Excel skills.
