Principal Product Analyst, Data Science Job in Providence

Providence is seeking a Principal Product Analytics for one of our remote locations in WA, OR, MT, AK, CA, NM, or TX.

The Digital Innovation Group (DIG) at Providence is a small but mighty product development and incubation team. We build next-gen tools that give patients convenient and easy access to health care anywhere, anytime.
DIG is both a healthcare startup and a technology/product incubator. Our team gathers market data on effective solutions in the health care space and then builds out a product line with the latest and greatest technology. When market maturity hits, DIG enables the product to spin out as its own company. It is a unique mix of venture capitalists, digital strategists, marketing acumen, product development and engineering all in one group, nestled inside one of the largest health systems. We set the pace for other health care organizations on how to conceive, engineer and launch effective health care solutions.

We require your expertise and passion to bring our next set of products to life. We are currently in the initial stages of incubating ideas related to virtual health assistants including triage, symptom pursuit and care navigation using ML and NLP. Additionally, we are pursuing personalized digital engagement for wellness. Success means you will have the opportunity to join future startups on the ground floor.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Responsible for overseeing the work for one or more major products or an entire product suite. Drives efforts for complex and high-risk projects

The responsibliites of the role include:

Analyze opportunities and problems to drive product/product feature prioritization and strategy

Working closely with PM, define critical metrics for product initiatives and measure their success

Not only answers business questions, but drives what those questions should be


Advise on platform(s) and usage of existing analytic/experimentation tools and provide recommendations and guidance for data automation, reduction in time to delivery, and reporting costs
Advanced understanding of HTML, Javascript, etc in order to identify when we are not tagged properly
Develop data definitions consistent with data management standards and conventions
Responsible for the overall data design and modeling across all of the organization’s data systems, especially the design of data in the major data platforms with focus on data analytics and data reporting and visualization”

In conjunction with product design and user research, drive important user features into the product roadmap

Required Qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics or Statistics

7 years Tag Management Systems (e.g. Tealium, Adobe Dynamic Tag Management/Launch or Google Tag Manager)
7 years Statistics and Analytics Tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics)
7 years Data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI)
7 years Data Warehousing

Preferred Qualifications for this position include:
