POSITION SUMMARY: Tin Building, Creative Culinary Management has an amazing opportunity for an experienced Recruiter. The ideal candidate will have hospitality, restaurant and/or hotel recruitment experience, as well as strong social media and employer branding expertise. This is a hands-on recruitment role, responsible for exempt and non-exempt recruitment.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Actively manages hiring managers and candidate experience and expectations throughout the recruitment process.
Partners with hiring managers on the development of the job descriptions, ensures JDs are compliant, representative of the role and ensures JDs are maintained up to date.
Assist with social media sourcing and recruitment efforts.
Will manage and effectively maintain the ATS platform.
Establish collaborative relationship with hiring managers as to ensure alignment with the hiring needs of each department.
Creates a pipeline of high-quality candidates and fosters relationships with them for future positions.
Establishes an engaging candidate experience through consistent, timely and professional communication.
Collaborate with the Senior Talent Acquisition Manager to develop an efficient and scalable full life-cycle recruitment, best practices, and wide sourcing strategies.
Candidate will be responsive and focused on the quality of hire while maintaining a sense of urgency to meet hiring needs.
Proactive with recruiting from Indeed, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Culinary Arts, local schools, and various other job boards.
Ability to manage expectations, processes, and multiple projects simultaneously.
Operate ethically to protect the assets and image of the company.
Must be able to maintain a schedule availability flexible to the business demands.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Minimum 2 years of full-cycle recruitment experience in the hospitality, restaurant and/or hotel space required.
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in human resources or related field.
Collaborative work style and ability to work effectively across departments.
Results oriented with ability to effectively manage projects and tight deadlines.
In-depth expertise in utilizing social media platforms: LinkedIn, Facebook, Google+, Instagram, Twitter, etc.
Experience with high volume recruiting.
Understands the needs of timely recruitment strategies.
Exceptional candidate management skills.
Proficient managing an Application Tracking System (ATS).
Service oriented, collaborative approach has exceptional follow up and organization skills.
High energy and it’s passionate about recruitment and enjoy working in a fast paced, innovative, and dynamic environment.
Ability and desire to work in an opening stage and fast paced and demanding environment.
Prior employment branding and recruitment marketing experience required.
Experience in working with hospitality and culinary schools to ensure presence at job/career fairs and internship opportunities.
Must possess excellent oral, written, presentation and listing skills.
Proficient in Microsoft office products (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Must be passionate, entrepreneurial, and dedicated to success.
Ability to perform the essential job functions consistent safely and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards
Ability to lift and carry items weighing 10 – 30 pounds on a regular basis.
Ability to sit and/or stand for prolong periods of time.
Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly frequent movements from place to place within the property. Bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms, and hands above shoulder height frequently, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment.
Climbing steps regularly.
