Special Education Coordinator Job in Hope Hall School

Special Education Certification is Required.
Purpose: To ensure the needs of students receiving special education services are being met.
Job Summary: Coordinate special education services for students and families that receive special education.
General Accountabilities
Manage and track students classified as receiving special education services or who have 504 accommodation plans.
Coordinate and distribute special education information to Hope Hall faculty and staff. (Including, but not limited to, IESPs and 504 accommodation plans, testing accommodations, service providers, and more.)
Update information in IESPs, as needed, prior to CSE meetings.
Create, review, and update 504 accommodation plans on an annual basis.
Liaison between Hope Hall and Gates Chili Central School District
Attend all CSE meetings of students on Hope Hall’s behalf.
Work with the district to schedule annual review and triennial meetings.
Assign teachers to attend CSE meetings.
Training of teachers and staff in a multitude of special education areas. (Including, but not limited to, student population, disabilities, referral processes, CSE meeting etiquette, and more.)
Liaison between Hope Hall and Monroe 2 BOCES.
Collaborate with Monroe 2 BOCES to schedule services within the school.
Partner with Monroe 2 BOCES to coordinate the collection of data from teachers to support with annual reviews and triennials.
Coordination of New York State Regents exams and Hope Hall Local exams
Serving, with the potential of Chairing, the Admissions Committee
Other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
